When you are in a pub, cafe or bar, and you want to order or pay, you need to draw the attention of the waiter or waitress. For Dutch guests, this is the number one irritation in the hospitality sector.

My idea?
A light on the table, which you can switch on when you want to order or pay, which gradually gets brighter. Illuminated objects attract more than non-illuminated objects and makes it easier to see where to prioritize the attention. Paying and ordering can have different colors.
